CATCH UP! This is laughable. They want to make drugs for heart disease to do what stem cells have been doing for years! Here’s where they are:
“…within the next decade they may have experimental drugs in development that would give certain… kinds of cells in the heart the ability to regenerate tissue, repair damage and therefore combat heart failure….”
“…his researchers had already had some success in using this protein to “wake up” cells known as epicardial cells in mice with damaged hearts.”
WHAT A JOKE!
1. Thousands of heart disease patients have been treated successfully around the world at stem cell treatment centers since 2004.
2. Prof Doris Taylor proved heart tissue can regenerate with stem cells in the 1990’s, built rodent and human hearts from scratch and opened a lab in Spain that grows entire hearts from the patient’s own stem cells last year.
CATCH UP ALREADY!
