The Danville d’Elegance is a major fundraiser for the Parkinson’s Institute, contributing to patient care and research projects. The institute, located in Sunnyvale, offers physicians, consultations, physical therapy — all under one roof.

Robin Halloran, one of the many dedicated volunteers, is excited about the “wonderful areas of research developing, especially with skin cells as well as stem cells.”

Jay Leno introduces ‘Green Car Challenge’ to OZ

…The hecklers… I mean comedians… just thought they were being funny. I, on the other hand, didn’t — but I forgive them because I know why they can’t help themselves from snickering whenever anyone mentions the environment.

They all voted for George W. Bush as card carrying Republicans while I, as a smart and forward thinking registered Independent for reasons related to environment, civil rights protections for all, stem cell research, and affirmative action alone (which benefits races and genders), didn’t. Now, I get to remind them of that.
